Tambo, you will met by our representative who will transfer you to
the hotel. Later in the day once check in you will be given an orientation of
the itinerary.
After
breakfast this morning you will be guided on a full day tour of Soweto by our
experienced guide who has vast knowledge of history and the impact of apartheid
on black people in South Africa. Soweto is a vibrant and sprawling township,
which is home to 3 million people. Here you will have the opportunity to see
Freedom Square and see the houses of two Nobel prize winners Nelson Mandela and
Desmond Tutu. To complete your experience, this evening “dine like Madiba” at
the Sanctuary Mandela restaurant, with dishes prepared by Madiba’s long-time
personal chef. After dinner enjoy a tour of the hotel which was once the
residence of Nelson Mandela.
Flight from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit Airport. Upon arrival you will be
transferred from Hoedspruit Airport to your luxury Game Lodge. Enjoy the time
at leisure before going on an evening Game Drive.
Start the
morning with early with a full day game drive in Kruger National Park. Spend
the day tracking ‘Big 5’, a variety of other wildlife and bird species in an
open safari game drive. The park boasts one of the largest and most successful
conservation schemes in the world, and the diversity of fauna and flora promise
an unforgettable bush experience.
After
breakfast, you will be transferred to Hoedspruit airport for your flight home. Alternatively,
you can extend you stay with optional extensions to Cape Town, Victoria Falls,
Mauritius or Madagascar.
